At NH Marine Services, we repair complete windlass systems from the electric motor through the gearbox, clutch, brake, shaft, bearings and gypsy.

We don’t just replace complete units when they fail. Where possible, we strip, inspect and repair the individual components to get the windlass back into reliable working condition.

Another successful RIB tube replacement completed.

This time in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

The old damaged tube was removed and replaced with a brand-new one, giving this boat a new lease on life.

Tube replacement is all about precision. The preparation, alignment and bonding have to be right to ensure a quality, long-lasting result.

Not every oil cooler needs replacing. Sometimes it just needs the right repair.

This oil cooler came into our workshop with a cracked housing and was leaking. Instead of telling the customer to buy a new unit, we stripped it down completely, inspected every component and repaired the damaged body using the correct process.

Once the repair was complete, the cooler was reassembled with new seals where required and pressure tested underwater. This is the best way to make sure there are no hidden leaks before it goes back into service. If there's even the smallest pinhole, you'll see it immediately.

The tube bundle was also cleaned and serviced to improve heat transfer and make sure the cooler performs as it should.

At NH Marine Services we don't believe in quick fixes. We repair, pressure test and inspect everything properly before it leaves our workshop.

One thing I've learnt after more than 20 years in the marine industry is that finding the right part can sometimes be harder than repairing the equipment.

Whether it's a marine pump, electric motor, alternator, generator component, steering system, or another hard to find spare part, I can help source it through my network of manufacturers and suppliers.
