A box leaves the warehouse for the fifth time. Same plywood panels. Same steel corners. Not one nail has ever been in it.

Most export crates never get that far. They are nailed together, so they get pried apart at the destination and the wood goes in the bin. The next shipment needs a new crate, a new purchase order and a new lead time.
