BULLARA
They’re known for their scones, sausage rolls and showers, and boy did they all live up to the hype (especially the shower, after not having one for 4 days)
The vibes here were incredible, and all the people were awesome, so friendly, and helpful, and full of knowledge around the area!
If you’re in the north west next dry season, definitely stop here!

Oh my god! Karijini was incredible! We stayed 2 nights, and crammed as much in as we could! We faced the class 5 hikes, and surprisingly enough didn’t absolutely die! Kermit’s pool, Handrail Pool, Hamersley Gorge, Fortescue Falls & Fern Pool were literally all amazing, and we had sooo much fun exploring the area! Chuck this on your must do in the North West!!!

HEARSONS COVE , KARRATHA , DAMPIER
We stayed in Karratha for a good week, exploring the surrounding areas whilst we were job hunting to fill up the fuel kitty (so bloody expensive!)
So so pretty and so much interesting history! We of course had to get a photo with the red dog statue, and then obviously went back to the camper and watched red dog 🐾

BUNGLE BUNGLES
The road in is absolutely shocking!!! But it is worth it, the beautiful scenery and walks you are able to do is out of this world! One of the walks we did with our limited time there was cathedral gorge! Through the rocky, and sandy hike, the different things you see on the way to the gorge is so cool!

KATA TJUTA • THE OLGAS
After the week back down south, we shot straight back up to the NT, and recrossed the boarder within 2.5 days of leaving Adelaide! To explore a small portion of the Olga’s, as it was peak heat of the day, we took the 2.6km Waḻpa Gorge walk! It was beautiful, and fascinating! Seeing the different erosions and marks from over time, and all the different kinds of rare plants was truely a treasure!

ULUṞU • AYRES ROCK
We dropped the camper off to Curtain Springs and hightailed it to Uluṟu to start exploring! We did the Mala walk, which showed us caves and rock formations, as well as lots of information boards to educate us!
We then set ourselves up for the afternoon, and stayed for sunset! MAN was this incredible, the bright orange/red glow the rock displayed was breathtaking!

ULUṞU • AYRES ROCK
We went back to Uluṟu a second time, to watch the sunrise onto it! It was an early 5am start, to try beat the crowds, and thank god we did, with bus loads of people joining us closer to the sunrise! It was gorgeous, seeing the rock from a different angle with different lighting was incredible!

DEVILS MARBLES
After an early start at the Devils Marbles hotel, we ventured to see the sunrise at Devils Marbles! We did a quick walk around, and then up onto the look out. The colours being shown were beautiful, and looking at the different formations and locations of the round rocks was quite fascinating 🫶🏻

DALY WATERS
You have to do it if you’re going through the area! What an iconic place, and it lived up to and exceeded any expectations we had! We had the most fun we’ve had in a long time, looking around “Tims Junkyard” , seeing all the animals, chilling in the pool, spending our afternoon and night eating and drinking at the pub, listening and dancing around to the live music, and even Harmony unknowingly volunteering to put a chicken head on and do the chicken dance with the kids 😂
Definitely worth the visit!!!
