🚛 HC TRUCK DRIVER PERMANENT POSITION | IMMEDIATE START

Tom Butlin Trucking Pty Ltd | Box Hill, NSW

Tom Butlin Trucking Pty Ltd is a family owned and operated transport company based in Hawkesbury NSW. Due to another truck arriving in the coming weeks We are looking for an experienced and reliable interstate HC truck driver to join our team.

🔹 The Role

This is a full time position after a 3 month probation period involving interstate linehaul work between:
📍 Sydney ↔ Melbourne
📍 Sydney ↔ Brisbane
📍 Other interstate work as required

This is NOT a 9–5 job. The role involves interstate travel and nights away from home, so you must be flexible and comfortable and experienced with long-haul transport work.

🔹 Essential Requirements

• Current HC Licence
• Road Ranger/manual gearbox experience – essential
• Located close to the Hawkesbury area preferred.
• Current BFM, or willing to obtain
• Current medical
• Good communication skills and good spoken English
• Reliable, punctual and professional
• Clean and tidy presentation
• Non-smoker
• Good attitude and strong work ethic
• Able to work independently and safely
• Must be able to follow company policies and procedures
• Must be able and willing to use Hubfleet EWD
• Previous interstate experience highly regarded
•understanding of mass weight requirements and limits

Crazy to think that on this day 2 years ago we picked up ‘See Me Now’. How time has flown.

Some days it feels like everything has fought me from day one, but I’m still here, still pushing and still trying.

I know I am very lucky to have an awesome group of mates, family and friends behind me to support, teach, reassure and to have backed me every single step. I am beyond lucky and forever grateful.

The truck has changed and upgraded alot along the way with more changes and upgrades to come.

I’ve only just dipped my toe into this path and I’ve got along way to go but I’ll be here for the long haul.

Somethings I learned off a few people earlier in life…
From a man I didn’t even know but knew of through ski racing, Mr Byron Whipple, was ‘Strength and Perseverance’…
From my Papa, ‘it doesn’t matter as long as you tried your best’
And from BNS life… ‘haters make you f& famous’.
Those 3 things are what has shaped me through this process and will continue to.

So wether your here to support me, and watch me try my hardest to succeed or here to see me fail and fall on my face….

Will do our best to get posted as quick as possible, but please keep in mind I work away from home Monday to Friday and an only really home on weekends. But I will do my best to get it sorted quickly.
