Our new online store recently got targeted by an individual that made a significant purchase with a stolen credit card. Before the bank flagged the fraud, the drone had been sent to Adelaide and the money repossessed by the victims bank, leaving us almost $10k out of pocket. We contacted and they acted quickly to contact the Regional Manager over the Easter long weekend and prevented the delivery whilst they investigated the crime. We'd just like to thank all the fantastic Staff and Officers from the Port Adelaide Police Station for going out of their way over the Easter period to prevent our small business from losing a substantial amount of money and assisting us throughout the whole ordeal.

DJI AGRAS T100 AUSTRALIAN LEGALITY: There’s been ongoing speculation and misinformation surrounding the DJI Agras T100 due to its 177kg MTOW being above the Australian Medium RPA 150kg limit.

The Agras T100 is classified by CASA as a Medium RPA in accordance with 101.022 of the Civil Aviation Safety Regulations 1998 (CASR) making it legal to fly with a RePL and Endorsement- just like the Agras T25P and T50.

The Agras T100 will be sold in Australia with a 100L spray tank and 150L solid spreader tank optional. An audible and visual warning on the Remote Control will notify the operator when they are approaching the 150kg MTOW during loading. Just like in General Aviation, CASA places the responsibility on the Remote Pilot to ensure the drone operates within legal weight limits.

We stand by our customers and will never offer a product that cannot be operated legally. For this reason, we held off on accepting orders for the T100 until receiving clear guidance from CASA.
