Got called to a absolutely bellied out 80 series this afternoon - it had been there for 2 days.

The mud had such a hold that the Mog was getting pulled backwards on the track.

I had to basically bounce the winch (lots of in and out) to get the big girl moving.

It took about 10 minutes but she finally pulled free.

Im glad im not hosing this 4wd off.

Absolute embarrassment this morning.

Get a call about 0230 to go and assist a customer stuck at Bribie. No dramas head out to the truck and go to start it.

Nothing! Not even reds on the dash.

Then have to contact the customer - who had cancelled a more expensive option - applogise profusely and tell them that I won't be able to make it.

Today's job, figuring out WTH has happened. 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Nice quick one this morning. Customer hired a light truck and with all the rain, as soon as they turned on the grass, down she went.

Easy access as the neighbors let me set up on their driveway so I could stay off the wet grass and it was just close enough so I didn't have to use an extension strap.

Just used a single line pull on the 18k winch with a soft shackle. Used a corner of the truck to get it turned back the way it should, then a bridle on both corners to get it out of the soup.

Different location, same tractor, same issue - ground was like porridge under the top layer.

I didn't get photos of the recovery - it was a mission to get into position and the mog went down into the mud a few times.

I used the 18k superwinch on the front with a double line pull and up she came.

The boxes are sideways because I'm in the middle of putting a new deck on the tray...
