A different view of Razor.

This is our Campbellfield home, where our team works across engineering, assembly and ongoing support for trailer automation systems used throughout Australia and overseas.

Most of what we share shows the finished systems installed and working. This is where much of the work behind them happens.

Built for daily conditions.

The Razor Rollover Tarp System combines robust aluminium housing, fully serviceable parts and an emergency manual override to support everyday operation in real transport environments.

The drive can also be controlled wirelessly through the Razor Connect app, helping operators open and close the tarp without manual winding.

How does the Razor Rollover Tarp System work?

A compact drive unit powers the tarp from side to side across the trailer.

The operator can control the system using the keypad, wireless remote or Razor Connect app on Razor Delta II systems. Razor Connect uses Bluetooth to operate and monitor the drive directly from a compatible phone.

An emergency manual override provides a practical backup when needed.

The US road trip gave Dayle and Geoff the chance to spend time with the people supporting customers on the ground.

Thanks to the team at American Freedom Enterprises for the welcome and the conversation about the trailer market, customer needs and where Razor can support the work ahead.

We’ll be sharing more stops from the trip throughout October.

Covering a load still asks a lot of the driver when the tarp is operated by hand.

The Razor Rollover Tarp System automates the manual crank process, allowing operators to open and close the tarp from the cab or a safe position beside the trailer.

Throughout October, we’ll take a closer look at how the system works, the different installation options and the support behind it.

The right trailer system starts before installation.

At Razor, the process begins with understanding the trailer, application and operating environment. From there, we help identify the appropriate system, support installation and remain available after the equipment enters service.

Application. Selection. Installation. Support.

This Razor powered landing-gear installation for TEFCO Trailers progressed from system positioning and fitment through to control setup and final checks.

Every installation begins with the trailer, its existing configuration and the way the equipment needs to operate in practice.
