Please note we will be reducing our runs this week. We have staff on holidays and some unwell. Eskdale, Mitta and Dartmouth will only have deliveries once this week if we can. We apologise in advance but our staff have to be taken care of. Your understanding and patience will be appreciated for this week. Back to normal next week.

The pain continues to grow with the rise in fuel prices. We are in the unfortunate position where freight prices will have to increase with little notice due to the unprecedented rise in diesel, in fact doubling. If we do not increase our prices we will be unable to sustain the current provision of services. In the event of diesel prices starting to decrease we will then be able to reduce our freight pricing. We apologise for little notice

Due to the increasing fuel costs we are going to have to make a few changes. We will unfortunately have to increase our fuel levy to assist in covering the rising fuel costs. Outlying deliveries will be reduced, people will have to collect from in town. If the price continues to rise we will be making a decision to only cover Mitta and Eskdale twice a week as we can’t run up there with only a few parcels. Please reach out if you have any questions

Update for future pickups deliveries. Due to the volume of freight coming through our depots now we have very limited space for extra pickups. Mechanic pickups will continue as normal with bookings need to be made before 930 on the day or ideally the day before. Business bookings will continue as per fairly usual but as space permits. Personal pickups will be very limited, white goods we will continue to do asap. Furniture will depend on each basis - only furniture that is boxed will be considered if it’s unboxed we can no longer do. Bookings will be made with consideration of assistance provided, some lounges are nearly 100kg we cannot continue to deliver if there is no assistance available on delivery. Building supplies will only be booked on a day by day basis as some weeks we just cannot fit them on 🙏

Further to our post about the heat this week. We will be leaving Albury Wodonga by 9am this week it’s looking like a full week of 40s. Only urgent parts etc will be collected this week, no furniture items will be collected this week. There will be no pallets hand unloaded for the week. Small items from depots will be made available for collection from our house, I will contact you directly if there is something you need to collect. Otherwise deliveries will be made next week when it is cooler

Due to the predicted temperatures next week I will be taking very limited bookings for our workers. A lot of other workers in fact stop in these predicted temperatures so I am not going to expect them to work long hours nor do heavy lifting in this heat.
We will be leaving Albury Wodonga earlier to get home.
Some deliveries may be deferred to when it is cooler or I will organise for collection from our home when convenient
