WE’RE HIRING

Driving Miss Daisy Warragul-every journey is driven by care.

DMD Warragul is looking for a friendly, caring and patient personality companion support driver to join our team and who lives locally around Drouin and Warragul VIC.

We’re more than just transport, we provide companionship and support for older people, those living with a disability or dementia, and anyone needing a helping hand.

All companion support drivers are required to have:

🌼VIC commercial passenger drivers licence or be willing to obtain one.

🌼Current first Aid certificate/CPR

🌼Working With Children Check

🌼NDIS Worker screening or willing to obtain one.

🌼Police Check (less than 3 months old) & references

🌼Disability awareness & dementia training (or willing to do)

🌼 Flexible with working hours (including school drop off/pick up times)

🌼 Willing to do both local & metro trips

This position is casual and will range in hours a week, this would suit a semi-retired person or someone looking for casual hours.

The use of a company car and uniforms supplied.

💛 Medical and therapy appointments
💙 Companionship and meaningful conversations

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

💙 Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, Aged Care, Community Services. (or currently studying)

💙Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
💙National Police Check (issued within the last 3 months)
💙Queensland Driver Licence and reliable driving record

💙Excellent communication skills, reliability and a genuine passion for helping others
