Driving Miss Daisy East Geelong is growing, and we’re looking for compassionate, reliable Companion Drivers to join our amazing team.

If you enjoy making a genuine difference in people’s lives, this could be the perfect role for you. Every day is different as you support our aged care, NDIS and private clients with:

đź’™ Community access and social outings
đź’› Medical and therapy appointments
đź’™ Companionship and meaningful conversations
đź’› Helping people stay connected, independent and living life to the fullest

What we offer:
🌼 Flexible casual hours (5–10+ hours per week with opportunities to grow)
🌼 Company vehicle and uniform provided

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

đź’™ Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, Aged Care, Community Services. (or currently studying)
đź’™Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
đź’™NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card)
đź’™National Police Check (issued within the last 3 months)
đź’™Victorian Driver Licence and reliable driving record

đź’™Experience supporting people with disability, older persons or within the community care sector
đź’™Excellent communication skills, reliability and a genuine passion for helping others

Medical appointments are a part of life for a number of our passengers with some days harder than others.

That’s the thing about Driving Miss Daisy. Some days our passengers want a quiet ride and that’s absolutely okay. Other days there’s plenty of conversation, friendship, banter and laughter along the way.

For many people, especially when heading to medical appointments, having someone there who genuinely cares can make all the difference.
