This is pretty cool!!

We lived in a house on Ballarat Road, Hamilton during the 1970s and 80s and livestock transports rubbled by almost daily including those from English Transport. This photo goes back to the early days of English Transport when it was operated by James Alfred English. James had lived in Cavendish but by the time this photo was taken in 1937 at Chetwynd, he was living in Edenhope. He is carting red gum logs with his International C series truck to go to Rowe 's Sawmill at Edenhope. James' son Maxwell James English followed his father into the carrying business.
