Stopped in at the Nullabor Roadhouse for a bite to eat; played a little golf; saw ol’ mate dingo; bought some souvenirs; photographed a road train…you know..all the things you do at the Roadhouse.

We are having the best time in SA (despite the cold, wind & rain 🙇‍♀️). Honestly, SA gets a bad wrap for whatever reason but I’m absolutely entranced by the whole state - especially the 3 peninsulas.

We spent 5 nights at Coffin Bay - I’d live there in a heartbeat. Here’s some photos of a little spot called Cummins. These are taken in the Old Railway Triangle. Mosaics everywhere. We met a lady in Port Lincoln who happened to be born in Cummins. She was adamant we visit the toilets - strange but here we are. Absolutely delightful.

Amongst other things, my dad was a ‘lumper’ during his many years working out bush on stations.

A photo essay of Marree, SA. Taken mostly with my Fujifilm X100VI - except the last few on my iPhone. Only 1 road open to Marree at present (as at 22/8/26)…from Quorn or Hawker. The roads to the north, east & west still closed with more rain due tomorrow & Tuesday. We are out of here in the morning.
