Come with us on our travels around this great big country of ours. We have an Aussie Swag Camper Trailer, and along with some of our fur kids, we will be showing images and talking about our journeys and the interesting people and places we come across.

We’ve now completed the The Darling River Run starting at Brewarrina and finishing at Wentworth today. What a fabulous trip.

Starting at Brewarrina to see the famous Barwon Fish Traps then on to Dunlop Station Louth Nsw where we met the wonderful Kim and stayed for 3 nights on her property. The home tour and the morning tea are a must do. Wilcannia was next and oh, the beautiful stone buildings are a must see. The cafe is also well worth a visit.

From there, on to Pooncarrie where we spent a delightful few days at the Campsite. Met a Jack Russell called Storm from a nearby property, who visits the campsite each day joining people on their walks and saying hello & playing with our dogs etc. Then each evening his owner swings by in his Ute to locate him & take him home. Rest assured he is loved and has a home (not me thinking he was homeless 😢).

Then we made our way to Wentworth where we enjoyed camping by the river at Thegoa Lagoon Reserve. Views back to the Lock were stunning on sunset. The Visitor Centre is a must - it’s fantastic!

There were a number of roads closed due to flooding at the start of the trip so we will be sure to do this whole trip again taking some of those roads next time.

What a trip! We had a blast!
