Job Opportunity: Customer-Focused Independent Worker
We are seeking a responsible individual who can work independently after training. Personality is key for this role, as it involves significant communication and a passion for serving customers to match them with the right products. Daily tasks will include internal and external correspondence and calls. A forklift license is a plus; we’re willing to invest in obtaining one for you if necessary (conditions apply).
Responsibilities:
1. Handle professional commercial correspondence
2. Process orders using MYOB.
3. Manage office admin tasks and retail store operations.
4. Organize transportation for sales and purchase orders.
5. Prepare and handling goods for pickup in the dispatch area.
6. Operate a forklift for inbound and outbound deliveries if licensed.
7. Provide administrative support to colleagues.
8. Process cash sales and ensure safekeeping of business cash assets.
9. Assist with labelling inbound goods and stocktaking.
10. Coordinate delivery schedules with the on-site driver.
11. Paperwork filing
Details:
• This is a part-time, long-term position with fortnightly payments.
• A 3-month probation period will be followed by a performance evaluation for potential long-term consideration.
• Public holiday entitlements apply to weekdays worked.
Requirements:
• Valid visa with a working permit
• Safety vest and boots
• Working hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (with a flexible 30-minute lunch break)
• Pay rate negotiable ($26.00 - $32.00) + superannuation
• Location: Primarily within the Greater Dandenong area
