We arrived at our caravan site today and a car was in our spot. Jumped out, their car wouldn’t start, she said she was having a really tough day. We pushed the car. All sorted. I went inside and wrote her a card, I hope your day is better from this moment. I was about to attach it to a boozy ginger beer when Phil says she had one of those blowers on her car, that’s why it didn’t start. I gave her a mandarine. 😂🫢

Rain and rain and rain.
50 ml predicted for today. It rained heavily all night too .
We are fine and hoping this rain doesn’t cause damage to people or property 😊

We are loving our travels. We are also dreadfully homesick for our people.
Today was a tough one, we are particularly fragile just after blood tests, the future hangs off those results. Today we had a weird interaction with a bloke who parked on our site and left his car running, music blaring and filling duke Vandango with fumes.
Us: hey mate your on our site, could you please turn your car off?
Him: kaboom
We held our hard boundary of not letting others cause us damage.
We spoke quietly to management and moved on.
When we are in the midst of a personal crisis, it’s too much to take on other people’s behaviour, so we don’t. No lessons shared, no effort on our part to explain ours or excuse his behaviour. We just left.
It’s hard but we survived.

I wish we’d travelled to spots like this when ours were small.
