Thind Transport is a growing transport and logistics company based in Melbourne. Due to continued business growth, we are seeking a motivated and reliable Transport Allocator to support our Linehaul Manager with daily operational tasks.

In this role, you will assist with the coordination and allocation of linehaul movements, ensuring efficient and timely freight operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in transport operations and logistics.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist the Linehaul Manager with daily transport planning and allocation
• Coordinate drivers, trailers, and freight movements
• Monitor schedules and ensure on-time departures and arrivals
• Communicate with drivers, depots, and customers regarding load details
• Update job and allocation systems accurately
• Resolve operational issues and support day-to-day transport activities
About You
• Previous experience in transport allocation, fleet coordination, or logistics (preferred)
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced transport environment
• Good computer and data entry skills
• Reliable, proactive, and team-oriented attitude
