📣 IRS INTERNATIONAL ADVISORY BOARD 📣
Sam Borland - New Zealand Manager, Peter Labbad - Managing Director, David Scott - General Manager and John Brens - Australian Manager make up the IRS International Advisory Board.
The team holds monthly meetings to ensure business alignment, operational and financial performance, customer satisfaction and future business development.
This week the team met in Singapore to develop relationships with customers and suppliers and plan for a big 12 months ahead.

IRS International was pleased to host Carrier’s training session for valued customer CMA-CGM on the Carrier new Optima Line at our re**er training centre in Melbourne last week.
The session held by Paul Gray was well received from both teams.

ANNOUNCEMENT - Gary Logue appointed to the new role of Global RPC Manager for IRS International.
Gary was just 23 years old when he left his home in South Africa to join IRSI Dubai. Relocating at such a young age and taking responsibility for our growing UAE operation was no easy task. Gary had to quickly learn the IRSI culture, systems, management structure and most importantly the day-to-day operation of a Dubai business.
Over the next five years, Gary developed into an outstanding manager and successfully built Dubai into a smooth-running and highly effective operation supplying the Middle East and Africa. His dedication, leadership and commitment to excellence were instrumental in the success of the new business.
In 2020, when the decision was made to establish another RPC in Rotterdam, Gary was the natural choice to lead our expansion into the European market. Gary enthusiastically accepted the challenge and embraced the opportunity to build something new from the ground up.
Today, Rotterdam is an exceptional operation - delivering outstanding results with zero customer complaints. IRS BV is a very strong, sustainable business model. Gary’s willingness to relocate, adapt to new environments, and help establish our new business operations has positioned him as one of IRS’ most trusted and dependable leaders.
These achievements have led to Gary’s well-deserved appointment to his new global role where he will support our RPC operations globally and further expansion, particularly through the Americas and Africa regions.
Gary, congratulations on everything you have accomplished so far. Your hard work, commitment, and leadership have played a significant role in the success and expansion of IRS International. We are all incredibly proud of your achievements and look forward to seeing the many successes that lie ahead in this exciting new role.

LEADERSHIP UPDATE - Sam Borland - New Zealand Manager

Please see below message from IRS International’s Director Peter Labbad.

Over 18 years with IRS International and 15 years as Director of IRS International, I have been fortunate enough to witness so many positive stories, people joining our business, developing their skills, growing in confidence and ultimately stepping into roles they may never have imagined achieving.

Sam Borland’s journey is certainly one of those stories, and one that makes me extremely proud.

At the end of 2008, I joined Howick Pakuranga Cricket Club in Auckland. There, I met a very young, red-headed, full-blooded Kiwi. We played a few seasons of cricket together and as we got to know each other, I saw something in Sam that made me believe he deserved an opportunity.

I decided to give this quiet young Kiwi a chance and offered him a position with IRSI Auckland as a Refrigeration Apprentice.

Watching Sam work, learn and grow over the years has been something truly special. With great mentors along the way, including Sharyn Woods and David Scott, Sam continued to develop both professionally and personally.

Over the past eight years, Kane Mitchell also played a huge role in pushing Sam to greater heights, giving him responsibility, challenging him and helping him realise just how much potential he had.

Sam eventually became the 2IC within our New Zealand operation, and today, after years of hard work, loyalty, commitment and dedication, he has taken the next major step in his career.

Sam has built a beautiful little family, worked tirelessly for IRS International and consistently demonstrated the personality, values and culture that we want within our organisation.

I could not be prouder to announce that Sam Borland is now the New Zealand Manager of IRS International.

From a young red-headed apprentice I met through cricket, to leading our New Zealand business, what an incredible journey.

Sam, congratulations mate. You have absolutely earned this opportunity and I know everyone across IRS International will get behind you and support you in your new role.

Congratulations Sam. We are all behind you!

📣 LEADERSHIP UPDATE 📣
IRS International is pleased to announce that Adam Scott has been appointed as Victorian Operations Manager.
Victoria is our largest re**er branch, with high volumes, a large footprint and huge staffing numbers. We have adjusted our structure to create this new role to meet business and customer demands.
Adam has been with IRS for over 15 years and previously held leadership roles in both Sydney and Melbourne. He is ready made to take up this new challenge. Adam will support VIC State Manager Matt Caggegi closely moving forward.
Go well in the new role Adam.
