In our work, in our communities & in how we show up for one another may we honour them by standing strong, supporting each other, and never taking for granted the freedoms we enjoy.

Yesterday, Niko and Melinda had the pleasure of visiting the Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Australia- Melbourne where they met with Grazia Amato and Veronica Misciattelli.

It was a great conversation and an important step in strengthening our relationship with the Chamber and the rest of the Italian Community in Melbourne.

With Melinda’s family roots tracing back to San Giorgio a Cremano in Napoli and Ragusa in Sicilia, building genuine ties with the Italian Community, families and local businesses is a personal mission for us at GFS.

Today we celebrate International Women’s Day, and I feel incredibly grateful to work alongside so many inspiring women in the freight forwarding and logistics industry. This industry is fast-paced, challenging, and constantly evolving, and the women I have had the privilege to work with bring resilience, strength, and determination to everything they do. Being surrounded by such hardworking, supportive, and passionate women has helped shape me into a stronger and more confident person, both professionally and personally. Every day I learn something new from the dedication, intelligence, and teamwork that exists within our community. I truly love working with everyone in this industry the friendships, support, and collaboration make even the busiest days worthwhile. Today is a reminder to celebrate the incredible women who continue to break barriers, lift each other up, and inspire the next generation in freight forwarding and logistics. 💜

Doreen, you are such an inspiration. So young yet already making such a positive impact. Your energy, drive, and passion truly shines through in everything you do.
