Mains
350g Porterhouse (GF)
Porterhouse steak cooked to your liking and served with creamy mash potato, seasonal vegetables, and a choice of sauce.
Sauces – Creamy mushroom sauce, pepper sauce, or diane sauce

Bangers & Mash (GF)
(Pork and Leek sausages)
Served with a rich creamy mash, peas and drizzled with gravy.

Pan Fried Barramundi (GF)
Served with pea puree, seasonal vegetables and garnished with roasted garlic.

Vegetarian option.
A fresh spinach, sage and ricotta ravioli served with garlic bread.

Dessert if wanted.
There will be a choice of 1 cold and 1 hot dessert on the night.

Dietary requirements such as G/F, V, Lactose available on request

Not long now.

Desert Parks pass's are available in Birdsville at Information Center, but remember they closes at 230.

Please have any outstanding money that is owed in cash to give to Alex or myself or deposit it in said account this week.

Camping fees at Dalhousie are part of the Desert Parks Pass we have been informed, we have 16 spots reserved.

We are still chasing rego numbers from Jack T and Mark H, so please flick them through to me.

I will be leaving on the morning of the 25th and will be in Charleville that evening, staying at caravan park.

Alex has booked Dalhousie Springs for our 2 nights, so please let us know if you have paid so we don't double up on this.

At the moment do not book Birdsville on your return.

Ok, by now everyone would have heard the great news.

Roads to Birdsville open and Desert opens on the 15/16th March.

Just a few things for everyone to do.

#1 - Best to book at Birdsville for the nights when you plan to arrive, I along with others have booked at the caravan park.

#2 - Desert Parks pass can be obtained in Birdsville.

#3 - You will also have to book our 2 nights at Dalhousie Springs. Will find out who to call, and get back to you.

#4 - I will be leaving Nanango on the 25th and plan to get to ????????

#5 - VEHICLE TYPE & REGO NUMBERS PLEASE, I AM MISSING SOME

At the moment we have 13 vehicle heading west, a couple of more would be great.

Can someone please explain to me why the 26th of January is a bad day in the left and woke peoples eyes?

Because to me regardless of what day we have Australia Day these people will still be offended.

I really think that they want to stop us from celebrating Australia Day altogether regardless of what date it falls.

Roll on Australia Day, I will be in SA shooting at the SA IPSC State Handgun Titles :) :) :)

Now that I have finished a lot of events I will now sort out a Participants list and vehicle types.

Things that Participants will need:
# Spirit of Adventure
# Remember you cannot control Mother Nature, so be prepared
# Name on rear of vehicle and a name tag for the early days
# UHF radio
# Sand flag
# All your food, water and equipment. (I will bring along a group BBQ)
# Obtain a Desert Parks Pass
# Basic recovery equipment and suitable anchor points fitted to vehicle
# Pool noddle or floatation device for Dalhousie Springs and other water holes if we find them
# Would suggest to carry spare belts & hoses, some oil, water etc.
# An extra spare wheel or tyre carcass.
# I will be taking along my workshop scan tool that may help diagnose any faults if anyone encounters them
