Last year we helped out some local trades by completing 'As-built Drawings' for their work on the . We are so lucky to have koalas in our community but they are a threatened species in NSW.
Seeing this little guy literally in our backyard makes us want to do all we can to help them thrive.
The NSW Gov is running an initiative called the 'Koala Count Challenge' to find innovative ways to measure the number and extent of koalas in NSW with the end goal of doubling the koala population by 2050.

He is the man of the moment!

12 years ago we launched Sir Richard Branson's Sailing Yacht 'Necker Belle' from our Newcastle facility when I was a designer at Azzura Marine.

As a souvenir when they sailed away I picked up this Virgin Galactic info pack. It was the first time I had seen what they were doing. I love the 'outside of the box' thinking of getting the craft to "glide back to earth like a shuttlecock". Brilliant.

I have enjoyed watching the developments as the Virgin Galactic team has progressed to this point.

Moral of the story: If you have big dreams and are brave enough to go for it, be prepared to put in the work and the rewards will be huge!
