WHO WILLL KEEP AUSTRALIA MOVING?
When most people think about sponsorship, they
picture the big names. The professional teams. The
million-dollar budgets. The bright lights.
NextLoad Australia has chosen a different path.
The smart digital freight transport platform is proud
to support grassroots sport because that’s where character is
built.
Whether it’s Jackson Noakes competing in the RX8 Cup
Series, the dedicated team at Boyds Moto Racing or young
riders lining up in the AMCROSS Series, what inspires
NextLoad isn’t just the results. It’s the people behind them.
The RX8 Cup is a grassroots motorsport championship where
young drivers earn every opportunity through commitment,
consistency and determination.
The AMCROSS Series is another great example. It’s a fiveround
inter-club motocross championship run by local
clubs on natural terrain tracks. Families, volunteers and
communities come together to create opportunities for young
riders to develop their skills, build confidence and enjoy the
sport they love.
Then there’s Boyds Moto Racing – a family-run team from the
NSW Central Coast that has built an outstanding reputation by
developing young riders. From NSW State Championships and
Australian Championship podiums to the Australian Supercross
Championship, they’ve shown what can be achieved through
hard work, commitment and believing in young people over
the long term.
“As we got to know these teams and competitors, something
became obvious – their world isn’t all that different from
ours,” NextLoad Australia co-founder Nicole Lewry told
OwnerDriver.
“Behind every race bike, every race car and every rider is
a family making sacrifices. Parents travelling thousands of kilometres, volunteers giving up weekends, sponsors digging
deep to help keep dreams alive, and countless hours spent
preparing equipment long after everyone else has gone home.
Sound familiar?”
She says the transport industry has always been built exactly
the same way. Owner-drivers understand sacrifice better than
most. Long hours, weekends away, missed family events and
the determination to keep pushing forward have always been
part of the job. Like grassroots sport, success doesn’t happen
because someone hands you an opportunity. It comes from
earning it.
“Just like grassroots motorsport, Australia’s owner-driver
industry has always been built by ordinary families willing
to take a chance, work hard and support one another,” Nicole
says.
“That’s the Australia we believe in, and it’s one of the reasons
these partnerships mean so much to Stuart and me.
“We aren’t simply putting our logo on a bike or a race
car. We’re backing young Australians, their families and the
volunteers who give their time so others can chase a dream.
“It’s also the philosophy behind NextLoad Australia. We built
our platform around direct relationships between shippers
and carriers because we believe the strongest businesses,
like the strongest sporting communities, are built on trust,
communication and genuine partnerships. Technology can help
people connect, but it’s those personal relationships that create
lasting success.”
Grassroots sport and grassroots transport have more in
common than people might think. Neither exists without
hardworking people willing to support each other, believe
in the next generation and give someone an opportunity to
succeed.
And for NextLoad Australia, that’s something worth
backing.
