And just like that… another Guildford Festival has come to an end! 🇮🇹✨

Honestly, every year this festival seems to attract more people, and every year we become a little more organised, a little more connected, and even more excited to be part of it. ❤️

This year we even had our own DJ set! 🎶🇮🇹

A huge THANK YOU to all my friends who supported me behind the scenes — helping with the logistics, setting up, packing down, and, most importantly, giving me the emotional support that makes these days so special. I couldn’t do it without you! ❤️

And thank you to everyone who stopped by, shared a chat, asked questions, or came looking for advice about travelling to Italy.

It was wonderful meeting so many people who dream of discovering Italy — and showing that with the right local connections and an amazing team behind you, those dreams can become real journeys. 🇮🇹🌿

Our lovely clients Allan & Peggy have just shared these beautiful photos from their visit to the Vatican Museums with one of our trusted local guides. ❤️

Thanks to our local knowledge and connections, they were able to go directly from the Vatican Museums into St. Peter’s Basilica through an internal passage — avoiding the need to exit, queue again, purchase another ticket and wait to enter.

A perfect example of how having the right people behind your trip can make all the difference.

Recently, thanks to a conversation on The Italian Australian Podcast , I received a travel enquiry that stayed with me.

A simple idea, but incredibly powerful.

A milestone birthday… celebrated not just in Italy, but in a place that holds deep personal meaning — the hometown of one’s parents.

It made me pause and think about what travel can truly represent when it goes beyond destinations and becomes connection.

Because imagine this:

Gathering your closest people in a small Italian town, somewhere like Sulmona in the heart of Abruzzo… where time slows down, traditions are still alive, and every street feels like part of a family story.

A long-table lunch in the countryside, shared laughter, local food, and moments that feel both new and deeply familiar at the same time.

It made me realise something simple:

perhaps the most meaningful way to celebrate a milestone is not just choosing a beautiful place… but returning to a story that already belongs to you.

From a simple request to an unforgettable experience 🇮🇹✨

I will be organising a visit to a traditional pasta factory in Gragnano, the home of Italy’s famous dried pasta.

My clients will have the opportunity to discover the history, craftsmanship, and passion behind one of Italy’s most iconic foods — from durum wheat to the final product, ending with a delicious tasting experience.
