Today is World Senior Citizens Day, a day that recognises and appreciates senior citizens for all their accomplishments and contributions to the community we live in today.

Senior citizens are valued members of society, who have plenty of kind wisdom and experience to share with the younger generation.

They are often overlooked and undermined because of their fragile state, but they have played a huge role in history, either in our communities, the workforce, or in our daily households.

World Senior Citizens Day is a great opportunity to show them love and plenty of kindness in celebrating their golden age and their presence in our lives.

King Neptune provided the backdrop for our visit to Two Rocks today. This iconic sculpture, world famous in Perth, was once the symbol of the popular 1980's Atlantis Marine Park - where many families enjoyed water park attractions including the swimming pools, slides, and the dolphin and seal shows. 🐬🦭💦

While supporting our lovely client settle back home after a lengthy hospital visit, she also shared her stories and memories of the once thriving themed hub. 😊

The water park may be gone now, but King Neptune still sits proud on the hill, aging gracefully-ish, towering over the area, and triggering those nostalgic memories for those who enjoyed the days when summer was all about being there at the water park. 🌞
