Junior Entry Level Position
Earthworks Machine Operator
Green's Bulk Haulage & Earthworks is a small family run business. We are seeking a young fella looking for a start in the earthworks industry. We will provide all training, and no experience is necessary.
The job will be working alongside the owner and assisting him in all tasks.
Our main place of work is located in Putty and surrounding suburbs. We work in the bush on rural properties most of the time.
The work we do is mainly earthworks, including site levelling, land clearing, retaining walls, dams, drainage, bush trails and roads, but is not limited. There are additional jobs such as fencing, cattle work, woodsplitting, and general labour around rural properties.
The successful applicant in time will be able to operate the following equipment:
-Posi Track
-Excavator
-Bulldozer
-Tipper Truck
-plus gain loads of extra knowledge that comes along with the job
The applicant must have their driving licence or a way to travel to and from work.
Must be able to work in the bush in different weather conditions.
Must be teachable, able to listen and follow instructions.
Must be able to do physical labour.
The job is ideal for someone who has left school, is looking for a career start & loves being outdoors.
The job is full-time, 5-6days a week. 8 -12 hour days.
Due to the location of the job, accommodation can be provided for working days for the right applicant or travel allowance of diesel - depending on the applicants circumstances.
