It's come to our attention that there is a K700 million Palm Oil operation been approved for development in the Wasum area of the south coast of West New Britain. This area is pristine forest and not been touched by a saw.

This is bad, very bad!

Palm oil is responsible for destroying large forestry in the rainforests of Indonesia and is the cause of major environmental issues on the north coast of WNBP. We must oppose this! What is being viewed by many as a major turn in the development of WNB will be an environmental disaster, major sections of land will be clear for these plantations which is why we must stop this now as once they are there if we decide to change the land back it will be unfruitful for a long time making profitable yield of any produce hard. Not to mention the average temperature will rise as there will be no natural forest to regulate the climate.

The idea that these co-ops will be profitable from an economic point of view is naive, these projects run by men like Philip Nomol are engineered to look like a community project but they benefit only those at the top of the food chain.

Head over to the Gloucester District Development Forum page and let them know that you won't support this blatant disrespect of the land and its people and resources, let them know that corruption has no place on the South Coast of WNBP. Have your say now!

Recently we've seen a few other groups similar to Arowe Resource International Association cropping up. Some have even tried to piggy back off posts on the page to get you to theirs. We can't say if they are genuine or not but we will say that we are. Development and growth and change for the Arowe will take time and careful planning, this may be frustrating for some but it is the only way to build strong foundations.

The Valilio Group is working hard to establish the initiatives that we have talked about so many of the meetings. Don't fall for the sweet words of others who may have others motives in mind. Support ARIA & Valilio Group and spread the word that change is coming!

A luxury home doesn’t always necessarily mean thousands of square footage, towering great rooms and gilded toilets. Take these homes for example: to begin building one of these epic houses, all you need is $2,000. That $2,000 will buy you a shipping container. What you do with that shipping containe…
