💛 A Little Story From the Office Today…

My whole day was made with one phone call — a lovely chat with one of our repeat customers. And when I say repeat, I mean… REPEAT. We’ve been moving this customer for at least 10 years, and earlier this year we took them all the way out west.

Well guess what? They’re coming back to Newcastle in December and have already booked their removal. At this point I think we’ve moved them more times than they’ve changed their lounge cushions. We’re talking 8+ moves… honestly … we’ve lost count.

There is nothing better than hearing: “Just book me in!”
No quote needed. No questions asked. Just pure trust.
Makes my little office heart very happy.

It’s moments like this that remind us we must be doing something right — whether you’re a long time regular or brand new, we treat every removal like we’re moving our own furniture and valuable possessions.

If you’re planning a move, coming back to the area, escaping the area, or just relocating because you’re bored of your current view — we’ve got you.

📦 Check out our new website for a quote
📞 Or give the office a call to chat about your upcoming removal

Repeat customers, new customers… we value every single one of you.
Thanks for choosing us time and time again — even if you move more often than most people reorganise their pantry.

🚚 Another Big Week at Greater Newcastle Removals! 😅📸

Our team has been flat out with local removals — including a large 3‑man move from Bolton Point to Balmoral.
And yes… the photos attached to this post are from that job.
And no… the boys’ photography skills still haven’t improved.
At this point, I’m convinced they think “content creation” means sending me a single photo of a truck sitting in a driveway with absolutely no signs of life.

Today one of our crews is completing a two‑part pickup in Newcastle before heading down to Sydney to deliver into an apartment complex.
Fingers crossed the change of scenery inspires them to take a photo that isn’t just a lonely truck parked like it’s waiting for someone to remember they own a camera.

If you’re planning a move — local or interstate — make sure to check out our brand new website and super easy online quoting form.
It’s quick, simple, and doesn’t rely on our team’s questionable photography habits.

📞 Thinking of moving? Get in touch — we’d love to help.

🚀 OUR NEW WEBSITE QUIETLY LAUNCHED LAST WEEK… AND WE’RE OBSESSED 🚀

In case you missed it — mostly because we launched it quietly like a shy kindergarten kid at a school assembly — our brand new website is officially live.
We’ve now got an amazing new team behind our website and online marketing, and honestly… they’ve knocked it out of the park. Fresh design, clean layout, easy to navigate, and it actually feels like a website built this decade.

But the real miracle?
They somehow turned our online quote form into something user friendly. If you ever used the old one, you’ll understand why this is a life changing upgrade. It was the bane of my existence — clunky, confusing, and allergic to working properly.
The new one? Smooth. Simple. Stress free. A genuine joy.

And now for the part the boys will never let me forget…
The team made use of the boys’ wonderful photography skills — yes, their actual photos — and used a heap of our own images throughout the site. Considering our old website had about three of our photos total (and one of them was questionable), this is a massive improvement.

The boys are already walking around like professional photographers… But between us, I think they might need to up their game now that their work is on our official website.

So have a look, explore the new site, and if you know anyone moving soon, send them our way. Share the website with your family and friends and get them to try out our new and improved online quote form — it’s finally something we’re proud of.

New website. New online marketing team. New quote form. Same boys… just slightly more famous.

🎉 HAPPY BIRTHDAY — MICHAEL TURNS 37 TODAY 🎉

It’s a very special day here at GNR because Michael (the youngest of us three) is officially turning 37.
Yes… 37.
He is slowly creeping toward 40 and apparently feeling every minute of it because he requested today off.
Nothing says “I’m ageing” quite like needing annual leave to emotionally process a birthday.

So in honour of our little brother’s big day, please enjoy this beautiful selection of photos we have of him:
✨ His back — because that’s 90% of what’s in our camera roll
✨ And, because I’m such a kind and generous sister, a photo from last week’s family dinner where he and Luke were proudly sipping their lovely watermelon cocktails like two men on holiday in Fiji.

Happy Birthday, Michael.
We love you.
We also love that you and Luke still haven’t figured out how to ban me as an admin on our socials… so I am absolutely safe.
Oh and you won't be safe on your birthday either big brother (Luke🤣🤣)

Feel free to leave your birthday wishes below — he’ll be reading them from the comfort of the lounge on his day off while contemplating his journey toward 40.

The boys have been on tour this week — Logan area, QLD one minute, Cessnock area the next — living their best removalist rockstar lives while the office enjoyed some rare peace and quiet.

Our repeat customer called us 18 months after we moved them up to QLD and said, “Bring us home.”
The boys said, “Road trip.”
I said, “Send photos.”
They said… nothing.
Except for ONE photo of the delivery. One. I’ve seen more photographic evidence from Bigfoot.

So I’ve issued a warning:
Improve your photo game or face the consequences.
And the consequences are either:

🍉 A public release of last night’s watermelon cocktail glamour shots,
OR
🎨 AI-generated caricatures that will haunt them forever.

They think I won’t do it.
Which is hilarious.
Because I’ve already opened the app.

And while the boys work on their photography skills, you don’t have to wait — if you need a quote, you can call us directly or jump onto our new and improved website to submit an enquiry.
Fast, easy, and zero watermelon cocktails required.

Yesterday’s Sydney → Hunter Valley removal went smoothly… except for the part where the boys took photos of the view and truck and zero photos of themselves doing the job. It’s like they’re allergic to being in front of the camera.

Tomorrow (Saturday ) they’re off again — Central Coast up to Old Bar — while I heroically begin my weekend at 4:30pm today (Less than an hour to go but who’s counting 🤣).
They’ll be working.
I’ll be relaxing.
Balance.

But the question is will they send photos of actual work being done?
History says no.
Hope says maybe.
Reality says… absolutely not.

Planning a move? Call us for a quote — we’ll move your home with care, speed, and questionable photography.

🚚📸 Delivery Update: Coffs Harbour Edition

Yesterday’s delivery into Coffs Harbour went smoothly — and yes, believe it or not, I actually received photos again.

But once again…
no proof of life in any of them.
Not a single human.
Not even a shadow.
Just another beautiful view from the customer’s balcony, which I’m starting to think the boys send purely so I get jealous while I’m stuck in the office.

Still no pictures of them working hard — unless “standing somewhere off‑camera” counts as hard work. At this point, I’m convinced the team thinks they’re in witness protection.

Today they’ve moved on to Sydney, tackling a high‑rise apartment back to the Hunter Valley.
So far, no photos from that either — but I’m sure I’ll get a lovely picture of a wall, a balcony, or maybe a blurry truck tyre sometime next week.

On the bright side, it’s been peaceful in the office the last few days.
No one tormenting me with dead spiders.
No jump scares.
No “Hey Kylie, look at this” followed by something I definitely did not want to look at.
Honestly… it’s been bliss.

And just a reminder — don’t let their terrible photography skills stop you from booking a move.
They might be hopeless with a camera, but they’re excellent removalists who take great care of every customer’s belongings.

If you need a quote, want to book in, or just want to test whether the boys will ever send a photo with an actual human in it, give us a call. We’d love to help with your next move.

🚚 Fishing Point ➜ Coffs Harbour Update

Photos came through from yesterday’s pick‑up.
Lake Macquarie looked incredible…
Meanwhile, the boys were once again nowhere to be seen.

Not a face.
Not a hand.
Not even one of their questionable haircuts.

At this point I’m convinced they think appearing in photos is a performance review and they’re simply refusing to participate.
Honestly, if disappearing was a sport, my team would be Olympic‑level.

I’ll see if they send any more photos when they return — although based on their track record, I’m expecting either:
A) another empty landscape,
B) the truck posing like it’s on holiday, or
C) a blurry image that raises more questions than answers.

Good thing they’re brilliant removalists… because as photographers, they’re one missed shot away from being legally classified as “unreliable witnesses.”

But here’s the thing — while their photography skills are catastrophic, their removals work is the exact opposite. They move customers’ belongings with care, speed, and professionalism every single time. So if you want a stress‑free move handled by experts (who should never be trusted with a camera), contact us today and let us take the heavy lifting off your hands.
