Recently, we followed Araluen Road in NSW, with no real plan other than seeing where it would take us.

Sometimes the most interesting places are the ones you weren't looking for.

While exploring near Nowra on the NSW South Coast, we came across Jindyandy — a little collection of historic buildings, quirky shops and beautiful gardens.

At its heart is an old grain mill, built with convict labour in 1830. Today, the surrounding buildings are home to antiques, gifts and all sorts of interesting things to discover.

It's the sort of place that reminds us why we love taking the time to explore.

You never quite know what you'll find when you let curiosity guide you.
