It’s has been awhile, but I am happy to be back. Even though I haven’t post much, I was traveling pre covid but didn’t share much of it online. In July of 2019, I accomplished one of my travel goals…I completed the bucket list to visit The Seven Wonders Of The World! Details on the blog, https://sunnyineverycountry.com/sunny-in-the-seven-wonders-of-the-world/

Hello World, Happy Travel Tuesday! I was in Sydney, Australia for the New Year’s Holiday. Sydney is a cosmopolitan city surrounded by iconic beaches and world heritage sites. Besides being Australia’s largest city, Sydney is also its most visited. With an incredible variety of attractions and sights to see, including the very famous Bondi and Manly beaches, it’s easy to see why people come here and stay a while.

Hello...I know it been awhile on this page. Sometimes I forget 🙈

I spent January 1st doing Skywalk at Sydney's tallest structure and the second tallest observation tower in the Southern Hemisphere.

It was quite an experience: Jet lagged(16 hours time difference), extremely windy up there, nonetheless, glad I made it alive and my wig was intact! 😂

Currently working on my Australia blog post. Cheers to you all weekend!

Ever tried non alcoholic beer? Since I don’t drink alcohol, I was advised to try non alcoholic beer while in Dublin. After trying this non alcoholic drink, I have to admit that I have newfound respect for beer/alcohol drinkers taste bug. It was absolutely disgusting. NEVER AGAIN! 🤢

I’ve been to Cuba twice this year; I visited in June to explore and in October to finalize group tours for “The Sunny Experience” launching December 1, 2017. I am very excited for the launch.
Like many American citizens, I’ve always wanted to visit Cuba. Before I even set foot on the island of Cuba, my reasons for going were very clear; Beautiful beaches, unique culture, low crime rate and, of course, the city of Havana. I also wanted to experience a place that was seemingly untouched by the outside world and wasn’t “Americanized” like a lot of the other Caribbean islands. Once I arrived in Cuba, I realized I couldn’t compare Cuba to any of my previous travels.

Hello World! I was in Lisbon, Portugal in May for a short yet productive stay. I honestly don’t know or have the words to describe this city. Nothing I say could ever capture Lisbon correctly. It’s indescribable. Lisbon just is. It’s an essence. A vibe. An aura. A living, breathing place that embodies an authentic spirit. I fell in love with Lisbon and I was struck by the friendliness of the people, the affordable food. My experience is finally live on the blog. Hello world. Hope you all had a great week!
This post is coming very late but as the saying goes “better late than never.” In February, I was in Amsterdam for few days after my trip to Sierra Leone.
Amsterdam is a friendly and open-minded city famous for its canals, engineering inventions, ship docks, floating houses, and beautiful mix of old and modern architecture.
I’ve always wanted to travel to Amsterdam to see the canals, the famous Red Light District and legally smoke ma*****na (don’t judge) and I did just that on this trip.
My Amsterdam experience is finally on the blog. Link>>>http://sunnyineverycountry.com/sunny-amsterdam-netherlands/

Hello world. Sorry about the lack of posts. I’ve been in lala land for the last few months but slowly snapping out of it. In December, I travelled to my home country, Sierra Leone for the first time to visit family. As some of you may know, I was born in Sierra Leone.
I will start this post with a question. What comes to mind when I say the words “Sierra Leone”?…….POVERTY, CIVIL WAR, BLOOD DIAMOND, EBOLA….ETC
Hold those thoughts because I am going to show you a side to my country that you barely knew existed. Hell, even I didn’t know exist.

One of my best experiences in Sierra Leone was the trip to Banana Islands, a tropical island with volcanic mountains raising from the sea. Even though I was born in Sierra Leone, I don't have much knowledge or history of the country. I was eager to learn about the history as much as possible.
Banana Islands is a spectacularly beautiful place off the Freetown peninsula. On reaching Banana Islands, it felt like arriving at Treasure Island.
Banana Islands however have a very tragic history. For around two centuries, it was the bastion for the thriving and unimaginably inhuman trans-Atlantic African slave trade. Thousands of slaves were captured from Sierra Leone, chained and brought in caravans into these islands. It was from the spectacular beaches of these islands that these men, women and children were then shipped off to Europe and the Americas. I highly recommend a trip to Banana Islands when in Sierra Leone. We took a local boat from Kent Beach.
