Adriatic Rose in final stages of painting touchups

Last few weeks the boat has undergone full hull blasting & deck blasting, whip blasting on Hull Topside & cabin canopy rails.

Dockyard Services have project managed and undertaken all painting & masking.

Enviro Blast undertook the blasting both wet & dry over a 12 Day, all dust & contaminants captured inside the shed.

Akzo Nobel International Paints have provided the series of inspections, thickness testing of each layer & application with a warranty report for the client.

GDB Marine Services have provided the services in paint supply and colour mixing

The Dockyard Services team are very proud to deliver a quality product the client.

Adriatic Rose Prawn boat from the Spencer Gulf being lifted, removed sorting table, pressure cleaned both hull bottom and entire boat to remove the salt residue prior to blasting and repainting.

Preparation today prior to blasting commencing tommorow.

Tight timeframe to complete scope of works in preparation of next Spencer King prawn fishing trip in March.

Best wild prawns with real flavour and taste.

Stage 3. Bertram 35 Refurbishment. Dockyard Services Team back at work progressing with upgrade including new hardtop canopy, transom and repaint. Primer coats and fill & fairing progressing on hull and superstructure.

Dockyard Services has specilist skilled tradesman that are able to tackle the most complex composite repairs and color match to ensure owners expectations are exceeded. Mark Heeps undertook the repairs on a Riveria were the anchor dropped and speared both sides of bow. Complex colour match but repairs delivered with prefection.

Stage 2 Bertram 35 Refurbishment Progress. Relocated vessel to paint shed for stripping, preparation, sanding commencement. New canopy mould plug, cockpit deck, marlin board under construction and fibreglassing

Bertram 35 power boat undergoing major modifications and refurbishment. Dockyard Services has commenced stripping fittings, deck & transom platform. Work has started on a new customised fibreglass deck canopy with day bed, new 900 mm transom platform as stage 1. We will keep you posted on manufacture & install. Then stage 2 and 3 to modernise the vessel.
