We couldn’t resist sharing our driver Sonia’s recent camera roll 📸

Winter in Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park is something else. This year we’re loving the desert wildlflowers, beautiful skies, and even the unexpected rain.

There’s still time to get here and see it for yourself.

Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park will be temporarily closed on Friday, 28 August from 6am to 11am (ACST) for a funeral.

The closure has been requested by family members in line with cultural practice and wishes of Aṉangu Traditional Owners as a mark of respect.

Customers with existing bookings for the morning of 28 August will be contacted over the next few days to make alternative arrangements.

Thank you to everyone for their understanding.

The Cultural Centre is a great place to start your visit to Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park.

Open daily, inside you'll find two galleries, informative displays, and the Tjukurpa Tunnel - a self-guided experience that features Aṉangu art, historical documentaries, and explanations of traditional law.

You can also grab a bite at Ininti café (the only place you can buy food and drinks within the park) and browse the gift shop. The café serves delicious cinnamon scrolls that our drivers love, but don't tell them we told you 😉

To get to the Cultural Centre, hop on the Uluru route which runs throughout the day.

We love running on time, but every now and then the outback reminds us who's really in charge 🐫

Last week our driver Sonia slowed to a stop while three camels crossed the road and our passengers were lucky enough to witness this! No complaints from us... it was a pretty special sight.

Have you spotted camels on your visit to Uluru?
