Avqustun 11-də Azərbaycan Respublikasının Prezidenti İlham Əliyev və birinci xanım Mehriban Əliyeva Naxçıvan şəhərində istifadəyə veriləcək yeni elektrik mühərrikli avtobuslarla tanış olublar.

Naxçıvan şəhəri üçün nəzərdə tutulan 60 ədəd “BYD” elektrik avtobusu Azərbaycanda, Sumqayıt Sənaye Parkında yerləşən “Azerbaijan Energy Automotive Factory” (AEAF) zavodunda yerli olaraq yığılıb. Uzunluğu 8,7 metr olan avtobusların hər biri 53 sərnişin tutumuna malikdir.

Layihə çərçivəsində enerjidoldurma cihazları quraşdırılıb, avtobuslara xidmət göstərilməsi üçün depo infrastrukturu da təkmilləşdirilib. Təxminən üç hektar ərazini əhatə edən avtobus deposunda zəruri infrastruktur yaradılıb. Burada texniki baxış və təmir postları, avtomatlaşdırılmış uçot sisteminə malik elektrikdoldurma stansiyası və saatda 15 avtobusun yuyulmasına imkan verən kompleks quraşdırılıb.

Depo ikinövbəli iş rejimində fəaliyyət göstərəcək və burada 200 sürücü, 22 inzibati heyət olmaqla, ümumilikdə 222 nəfərin çalışması nəzərdə tutulur. Sürücülərin aylıq əməkhaqqı isə 1000 manatdan çox olacaq. Depoda avtobusların texniki xidməti və dəstəyini “Electrify Azerbaijan” şirkəti təmin edəcək.

Layihənin icrası ilə Naxçıvan şəhərində 9 marşrut xətti üzrə il ərzində 4,5 milyon sərnişinə yüksək səviyyədə xidmət göstərilməsi mümkün olacaq.

Naxçıvanın ictimai nəqliyyat sisteminin tam elektrik avtobuslarına keçirilməsi Azərbaycanın daha dayanıqlı, müasir və ekoloji cəhətdən təmiz nəqliyyat infrastrukturu istiqamətində atdığı növbəti mühüm addımlardan biridir.

Qeyd etmək lazımdır ki, AEAF və “Electrify Azerbaijan” şirkətləri “SARDA Group”un tərkibində fəaliyyət göstərirlər. Elektrik mobilliyi və dayanıqlı nəqliyyat həllərinin inkişafı qrupun son illərdə diqqət yetirdiyi əsas istiqamətlərdən biridir. Bu istiqamətdə həyata keçirilən layihələr “SARDA Group”un ölkədə yaşıl enerji və daha dayanıqlı nəqliyyat infrastrukturunun inkişafına töhfə vermək istiqamətindəki fəaliyyətini dəstəkləyir.

During his business visit to Baku, Mr. Peter Szijjártó - Head of Foreign Relations and New Business Development at BYD, participated in a meeting with representatives of SOCAR and SARDA Group, BYD’s local partner in Azerbaijan.

The meeting brought together representatives of SOCAR led by its President - Mr. Rovshan Najaf, alongside the SARDA Group delegation headed by the company’s CEO - Mr. Rauf Khalilov.

Discussions focused on sustainability, green energy initiatives, and opportunities to strengthen cooperation in support of Azerbaijan’s energy transition. Participants exchanged views on the integration of renewable energy technologies into industrial processes, the advancement of sustainable mobility, and innovative technological solutions that can contribute to the country’s long-term industrial development.

As BYD’s local partner in Azerbaijan, SARDA Group highly values initiatives that strengthen cooperation between the energy and technology sectors and contribute to the development of sustainable mobility and industrial innovation.

BYD - one of the world's leading manufacturers of new energy vehicles (NEVs) has officially entered Azerbaijan's passenger vehicle market. The launch event held at the Heydar Aliyev Center marked an important milestone for the brand and introduced its latest passenger vehicle lineup to the Azerbaijani market. The brand's official dealer in the country is BYD Baku operating withing the structure of SARDA Group.

Held under the "From Fire to Flow" concept the event celebrated Azerbaijan's heritage while highlighting the country's transition toward a more sustainable future. During the presentation, BYD unveiled five new energy vehicle models designed for different mobility needs: YUAN UP EV, YUAN UP DM-i, SEALION 6 EV, SEALION 6 DM-i, and SEAL 6 DM-i.

The new lineup features BYD's latest technologies, including the e-Platform 3.0, Cell-to-Body (CTB) architecture and the fifth-generation DM hybrid technology, delivering high levels of safety, efficiency, intelligent performance and driving comfort. Whether for daily urban commuting or longer intercity journeys, the vehicles are designed to support a more sustainable mobility experience.

The partnership between SARDA Group and BYD first began in 2009 and has continued to grow over the years. Beyond vehicle sales and after-sales services, the collaboration has expanded into strategic projects that contribute to Azerbaijan's transition toward clean transportation.

🇦🇿🇬🇪 The CEO of SARDA Group - Mr. Rauf Khalilov hosted a distinguished delegation from Georgia at Electrify Azerbaijan’s Bus Service & Maintenance Depot in Baku, including Ms. Nino Latsabidze, Mayor of Rustavi - Mr. Vakhtang Tsintsadze, Deputy Minister of Economy of Georgia - Mr. Irakli Shatakishvili, Member of Parliament of Georgia, and representatives of the Rustavi Municipality.

The visit provided an opportunity to present Electrify Azerbaijan’s operational capabilities and maintenance infrastructure, which supports a fleet of more than 200 electric buses serving the city of Baku.
