Role Overview:

We are looking for a proactive and energetic Business Development Intern to support the growth of the RedX Trucks B2C portfolio. The intern will be responsible for identifying potential clients, maintaining regular communication, understanding customer requirements, and ensuring seamless operational support. This role is ideal for someone who wants to build a strong foundation in sales, client management, and logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Market Visit & Client On boarding
● Conduct regular market visits to identify and onboard new B2C potential clients.
● Build relationships with small and medium businesses requiring trucking services.
● Gather insights on client pain points, pricing expectations, and competitor activities.
2. Daily Client Follow-ups
● Maintain structured communication with existing and new clients.
● Ensure timely follow-ups related to shipments, quotations, and service updates.
● Track client queries and coordinate with internal teams for resolution.
3. Requirement Understanding & Solution Delivery
● Understand customer requirements clearly (truck type, route, timing, loading/unloading needs).
● Prepare basic quotes and recommend the right logistics solutions.
● Assist in aligning operational teams to deliver smooth service.
4. Social Media & Query Handling
● Respond to customer inquiries coming through Facebook, WhatsApp, inbound calls, and other platforms.
● Maintain professional communication and guide customers through the service process.
● Capture leads from digital platforms and convert them to service orders.
5. Documentation & Reporting Tasks
● Prepare client onboarding files, rate sheets, and update daily reports.
● Maintain CRM/Excel trackers for follow-ups, leads, and orders.
● Assist in preparing business development documentation for internal review.
