যদি চলে যায় পশ্চিমের কোনো প্রান্তরে,
কখনো যদি অতীতকে যায় দিব্যি ভুলে।
সমস্ত দ্বিধা ভেঙ্গে কাজল চোখ নোনাজলে,
হাত বাড়িয়ে দিও চরম অভিমানে গাল ফুলিয়ে।
হয়তো নিজেই! নয়তো দূর আকাশের তারা হয়ে,
আলোর বেশে ঢেলে পড়ব তোমার মলিন আঁচলে।
