歡迎美國智庫「德國馬歇爾基金會」（GMF）來訪，深化跨大西洋戰略夥伴關係！

GMF為跨黨派公共政策研究機構，匯集美、法、英、德等國國防安全專家。佳龍部長日前接見訪團，雙方就台灣國防韌性、整體發展策略與區域安全情勢深入交流。部長指出，面對中國威脅升高及美歐推動再工業化、再武裝，台灣將以 #總合外交 為核心，整合公私部門資源，深化與民主夥伴的戰略連結，包含：

🔸價值外交
堅守自由民主價值，與理念相近國家共同維護基於規則的國際秩序。

🔸同盟外交
遵循賴清德總統的國防戰略，透過提升國防預算至GDP 5%、引進AI科技、打造 #台灣之盾，強化自我防衛與國防產業發展。

🔸經濟外交
充分發揮台灣在半導體與人工智慧的產業優勢，推動「歐洲晶片三角」等戰略合作，並與民主夥伴致力打造堅韌的「非紅供應鏈」。

此外，部長提到我國除了透過 #榮邦計畫 與理念相近國家互惠共榮，協助夥伴提升民主治理能量，也藉由產業合作與投資讓台美歐關係提升為共享利益的夥伴。

霍雪芙會長認同佳龍部長的觀點與策略，且該理念與GMF促進跨大西洋夥伴合作的宗旨非常契合，期許未來持續協助台灣深化與跨大西洋夥伴的戰略關係🤝

We welcome a delegation from The German Marshall Fund of the United States on their Taiwan visit aimed at strengthening our strategic transatlantic partnerships!

MOFA Minister Lin Chia-lung recently held an audience with the delegation from the US-based bipartisan public policy think tank, during which they discussed Taiwan's national defense resilience, national development strategy, and regional security issues. Minister Lin also stated that, faced with the escalating threats from the PRC, and the drive for reindustrialization and rearmament in the US and Europe, Taiwan's integrated diplomatic approach is integrating public and private resources to strengthen strategic ties with democratic partners.

🔸Values-based diplomacy
Working with like-minded countries to uphold the rules-based international order, holding fast to the values of freedom and democracy.

🔸Alliance-based diplomacy
In line with President Lai Ching-te's national security strategy, we're raising defense spending to 5% of GDP, integrating AI capabilities, and forging a Taiwan shield to strengthen our national defense capabilities and the development of related industries.

🔸Economic diplomacy
Exploiting the strength of our semiconductor and AI industries to promote strategic cooperation, such as the European Chip Triangle, and working with democratic partners to establish resilient non-red supply chains.
