Not all ride offers are the same. Know what to look for before you book.

We welcome healthy competition and more transportation options in our communities. However, anyone accepting payment for rides must meet legal and safety requirements.

Before booking, ask:

• Does the driver hold a valid Class 4 licence?
• Is the vehicle properly inspected?
• Does the insurance specifically cover paying passengers?
• Is the driver affiliated with a licensed ride-sharing company or registered transportation business?
• Does every passenger have a working seat belt?

A Facebook ad and a willing driver do not automatically make a ride service legal or properly insured. Personal auto insurance may not cover an accident involving paying passengers.

At Baccalieu Bus, our drivers are properly licensed, and our vehicles are commercially insured and inspected.

Please ask questions before accepting a ride. A responsible provider will be happy to answer them.

We’re excited to share our Expanded Service Area.

Baccalieu Bus offers scheduled bus service, Monday to Friday, to St. John’s, Mount Pearl and Paradise, with pickup and drop-off available in many communities throughout our serving area.

There is no extended-area surcharge for:
💙 Winterton to Victoria, including communities in between, because our bus is parked in Winterton each night
💙 Paradise and Mount Pearl

Heart’s Content to Blaketown:
Pickup at the corner of Route 80 and Route 74 is available for $57.50. Pickup or drop-off within these communities must be arranged at least 48 hours in advance by calling us.

A few helpful reminders:
• Prices shown are one-way, per seat and HST is included
• Seniors and children under 12 receive a 10% discount
• Infants under 2 travel free
• Customers can request drop-off anywhere along our route, although shortened travel does not reduce the fare
