This cabinet was a labor of love redesign for our own home from a 1970's era china cabinet. We added a grow light, a fun honeybee vinyl backsplash, and some sharp new hardware. We also decided to create a top for this piece with a beautiful brazilian hickory from WoodCache. We love wood, but our home has a very victorian-chic style, so we tried to bring the rustic wood grains together with a classic color and simple lines. Our favorite is the smart plug, so we can put our growlight on a timer. We don't have any fresh herbs in the cabinet right now, but what a perfect place for some basil!

We started putting some Osmos on a few pieces today. They're all so unique. Did you know one of these was made using a burl from the property I grew up on? From one of the many maple trees that my parents planted when they got married and built the house that they still live in today 💕

The other two were made with wood from our favorite folks at in Calgary.
