Each Good Food Box contains a combination of fruits and vegetables. The content varies weekly, due to seasonal availability. The boxes contain the maximum produce to ensure our clients are getting the most value for the price. *Please note weights are approximate.

Precious Cargo Community Support Services is Hiring!!!

Precious Cargo Community Support Services is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant (35 hrs/wk) in Rockyview, AB.

The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented and possess strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Minimum Office Administrative diploma or Human Services diploma is preferred or equivalent. 2-5 years experience in an administrative or human services capacity.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the agency Director, Program Manager, and/or team leads in the orientation training, onboarding for new staff/practicum students.
• Assist and, in some cases, deliver training programs for employees.
• Participate in the day-to-day management and continuation of the analysis of best practices and oversee frontline staff ensuring policies and procedures.
• Achieve agency objectives by orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, and delegating; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures.
• Achieve operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and client-service standards; resolving problems; identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing change.
• Meet financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
• Liaise between Program Director, Program Manager, employees, and/or clients.
• Ensure management is updated on day-to-day operations; ensure daily correspondence is distributed in a timely manner.
• Resolve and problem solve issues as they arise.
• Must be willing to work evenings and weekends for a minimum of 1 week per month.

Role Requirements

• An excellent eye for detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• An ability to work well under pressure and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent computer, software expertise.
• Some general knowledge of basic bookkeeping, accounting skills.
• Ability to analyze complex information, exercise discretion, and maintain confidentiality.
• People management, promoting process improvement.
• A pleasant demeanor and the ability to work well with others.
