The big question always is "What makes Excel different from all the other Camelina oils out there?"

On a face value, not much, as some may think that all Camelina oil varieties are the same. So to break it down, here is a list of the specifics you'll be guaranteed to receive only from Excel's proprietary Camelina oil.

🌱 We are exclusively partnered with our farm. That's right, we control every plant and seed that is used to make our products. This is most important when looking into products that are show safe (FEI & USEF), allergy exposure, and other issues that potential cross contamination may have an effect on. In addition to that, our warehouse ONLY processes our products, completing the controlled environment your product stays in until it reaches your doorstep.

🌱 Our omega-3 to omega-6 ratio is 2:1. This is mainly due to the process we use to cold press our Camelina varietals. Most other Camelina companies only produce a 1.6:1 ratio at best.

🌱 Our shelf life is 2 years from the package date (which you can find conveniently at the bottom of the bottle). We are able to have such a long shelf life as our natural vitamin E acts as natural preservative.

🌱 Our vitamin E is all natural and derived from alpha-tocopherol, gamma-tocopherol, and delta-tocopherol. Just looking at alpha-tocopherol you can expect to receive 45.40 IU per serving (2 oz) When comparing the additive vitamin E sources, one can expect to see up to 1100 IU per serving. *Keep a look out for a separate vitamin E post in the coming weeks.*

🌱 Our formulas are species specific. For example, our ExcelK9 has organic pumpkin seed oil as an additive ingredient. Pumpkin seed oil is excellent for canine gut health!

🌱 Lastly, our Care and Condition line is top notch! We are the only Camelina company that has taken the proven benefits of Camelina oil internally and utilized them externally as well. Whether your dog has a wound that needs healing or your horse needs some serious hoof help, our products are safe and all natural, ensuring the best healing and recovery for your animal.

Jonathan also puts to the test one of Metalab's new Clinician Collection bit. The Transition Dee-Bit, a combination of snaffle and bit with the infamous Futurity Bit mouth piece covered in Leather. This bit also features the patent-pending Swivel-Free system allowing the rings to swivel freely and independently from the headstall rings. We also very impressed with the results as this 8 year old Open and Non-Pro stallion responded very positively to the bit. JG gives credit to the leather covered mouthpiece.
