Today, on what would have been her birthday, we honor Dr. Winnifred Stewart and the remarkable legacy she created.

More than 70 years ago, she envisioned a world where individuals with intellectual disabilities would be valued, included, and empowered. Her vision challenged the status quo and opened doors to greater opportunity, belonging, and participation in community life.

That vision continues to inspire our work today as we strive to create a voice, a choice, and a place for everyone to belong. On this special day, we celebrate Dr. Stewart's lasting impact and the countless lives her leadership has touched. 💙
