River Racing New Zealand is proud to announce the dates for the 2027 New Zealand UIM World Jet Boat Championship.
📍 19–28 November 2027
🏁 Starting in Queenstown
🏆 Finishing in Christchurch
Over ten days, competitors from around the world will take on New Zealand’s legendary rivers in the ultimate test of speed, endurance, precision, and teamwork.
From the mountains of Central Otago to the finish line in Canterbury, this will be a World Championship journey unlike any other.

• Unlimited Class
• A Class
• CX Class
• FX Class
The FX-Evo Class will also be included, subject to approval from UIM.

Thank you to SSS Engineering in New Zealand for this information;The 212/214 Jet is over 30 years old now with over 12,000 units out there...which shows what a good design it is;but even the best design needs to be serviced properly.
A lesson to learn here .
When you put your 212 blade back onto the shaft,
It should be a gentle non obstructed fit .
If you feel resistance . On the shaft !keyway or anything, Don’t just smash it on
Clean the burrs. Clean the burs again
Wipe all the s**t off the shaft and inside the
Blade , including sand
All the l**e in the world didn’t save this shaft
Motor out , pump out , remove bearing off shaft
Shaft out of pump backwards
Cut sleeve off , clean hideous galling on shaft in lathe . Then press off blade
The hard way to do a blade rebuild
