Handmade is best.
You'll always hear Amanda and I talk about how much we love making things for people. Being creative and gifting something is our jam, probably a love language of sorts.
Well, Amanda out did herself with this one.
These baby taggies are made from my late grandfathers well worn/well loved plaid shirts.
I was expecting my third when he passed, and when my cousin announced they were expecting their first. Amanda went to work, and as she would say "oh I just whipped these up real quick"
These items (to me anyways 🥹) turn handmade into family heirlooms. An item that becomes a part of your home, you see it in a bucket of toys and smile, feeling that immediate connection to a loved one or the person who made it. It brings back memories, it brings stories of the past into the home.
I'm emotionally rambling now. But anyways. We love making things, we love repurposing, and we love all of the continued support.
Okay, but now I'm curious.
What do you have from a loved one in your home ❤️ (I have so many 🤭 stained glass, books, clothing, quilts, ohhh, the list goes on)
