Have you felt the quiet stillness of the winter air lately? In Anishinaabe tradition, this time of year is known as Manidoo Giizis (The Spirit Moon).

Nature is resting, and the world slows down under a blanket of snow. It serves as a gentle reminder that we, too, need time for silence and reflection. It is a time to honor the silence, listen to our own spirits, and prepare for the cycle ahead.

Travel isn't just about moving; it's about understanding the land and the stories it holds.

Take a moment of silence today. How are you resetting your mindset for the year ahead?

A weekend for the books in Toronto celebrating leadership, partnership, and representation.

We kicked things off with an incredible professional development and training session led by the legendary Ted Nolan. It was a powerful day of learning and grounding ourselves before heading to Scotiabank Arena for the Indigenous Celebration Night with the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Seeing the collaboration between Indigenous Tourism Ontario and Seeing Red Media take center stage was a proud moment. From the "Indigenous Playmaker Marketplace" featuring amazing brands like Mini Tipi and Kokum Scrunchies to the youth representation with the Little NHL, this night showed exactly why representation matters on the big stage.

We want to say Miigwetch for inviting us to be part of this very special event!
