EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENT!!! 🎉

Good evening, everyone! We have some HUGE news to share!

WE’RE EXPANDING! That’s right — as of today, we are officially the operators of not one, but TWO Irene’s locations! ❤️

While it will take us a few more weeks to get our new location up and running, we couldn’t wait any longer to share the exciting news with all of you!

As many of you may recognize from the photo, our new home will be in the Cambrian Mall food court! 🥳

This expansion means longer hours, our home-cooked meals 7 DAYS A WEEK, and something so many of you have been asking for… DINNER! 🍽️

None of this would be possible without the incredible support of our loyal customers. Every visit, every order, every kind word, and every bit of encouragement has helped bring us to this next chapter. From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU for being part of our journey! ❤️

We’re beyond excited for what’s ahead and have so many wonderful things planned for our new space. This is just the beginning!

Waboos Launches “Travel Like a Warrior” Campaign to Connect Travelers with Indigenous Businesses

Indigenous-focused travel platform encourages travelers to discover, support and share Indigenous businesses across Canada and the USA

Garden River First Nation, Ontario — Waboos is inviting travelers, communities, businesses and supporters to “Travel Like a Warrior” by downloading and sharing the Waboos travel app and discovering Indigenous-owned businesses and experiences across Canada and the USA.

Waboos is an Indigenous-focused travel platform designed to make it easier for travelers to find and support Indigenous businesses, including restaurants, accommodations, attractions, artisans, retail businesses, events and unique cultural experiences.

The Travel Like a Warrior campaign encourages everyone to take a simple but meaningful action: download Waboos, explore Indigenous businesses, share the app on social media, and encourage others to join the journey.

“Supporting Indigenous businesses creates opportunities for Indigenous entrepreneurs and communities while helping build greater awareness and understanding,” says Bradley Pine, CEO and President of Waboos. “We believe reconciliation can also happen through everyday choices — where we travel, where we spend our money, and which businesses we choose to support.”

Waboos is also calling on Indigenous business owners to join the platform and add their businesses.
