Green Valley Short Line Railroad Club

Green Valley Short Line Railroad Club Model Railroad club for enthusiasts young and old to build and ride on miniature live steam trains

Dear Visitor,

Thank you for visiting our page and inquiring about our railroad! We are located in Green Valley, Ontario (North Lancaster), midway between Hawkesbury and Cornwall. We have been running trains at this location for over 3 years and are almost ready to welcome visitors, as our clubhouse will soon be complete (summer 2016)! The track is long and winding, passing between tall m

ature trees, through a beautiful wooded area dappled with sunlight. With each passing season, we lay more track to accommodate more and more trains. Do you have a train of your own (scale 1 1/2" to the foot, 7 1/4" between the rails)? Give us a call, send us an email or a Facebook message if you'd like to run it on our track! Should you not have a train of your own, associate members can join the club, and operate trains owned by our full status members. The Green Valley Short Line Railroad Club wants everyone to know that enthusiasts of
all ages are welcome to become members of our club.

In loving memory of the driving force of so many accomplishments, and the founding father of our Club…

To all those that knew Guy Filiatrault, please say a prayer in his memory. We lost him on November 1st 2020, and many of us will never forget him. I love you Dad.

We are having a great 2024 season, and are actively building more track! We are out most Saturdays weather permitting, and that usually results in 45-90 feet of new rail in our Phase 3.

We should have 4 new steaming bays installed by spring 2025, in hopes of hosting our first meet.

We will have approximately 7000 feet of track (not counting the portable) so plenty of room for all.

Our track currently boasts an inner and an outer loop, a modest station, a decent 3 track rail yard, a large mobile transfer table, and a ballast car loading chute.

We are looking for active full members that own their own, or are building their own locomotives and rolling stock, and that can actively participate in the expansion of the Club.

Please get in touch with one of our Full Members for more information.

This would be a sweet truck for our NPO, Green Valley Short Line RR. This would turn the pandemic frown upside down.
