While lacquer cures on some other guitars, I did a pickup swap on this bass from a while back.

Serek in the bridge, Rio Grande in the neck.

Also, if you have an aluminum neck that needs a home, I’m always happy to make a body for it.

Some work from today:

Black Limba Clayburn bass rough cut to shape, next is routing with the template to make it perfect

Adelaide(the last one?) for a repeat client(the greatest compliment I can get) that will be painted to match his favourite ceramic coffee mug

Faded Sonic Blue from Oxford Guitar Supply and Furniture Butter from Walrus Oil

Satin finish on an open grain ash body, smooth oil finish on a flame maple neck and fretboard. Loaded with a single Seymour Duncan Nazgûl and set up in Drop B. Looks like but sounds mean.

This dark cherry burst offset went to a good home today.
Sad to see it go but I’m glad it’ll be put to good use.
That combo of McNelly Pickups Bliss+Nostalgia is one I’ll do again I’m sure, especially with the series/parallel and phase switching.

The blue offset is available if you want a versatile guitar with no wait time.

2 basses and multiple guitars are in the works. Some claimed, others ready to be intercepted before I finish them up the way I’d want them.
