Helloooo friends! Hope you're all doing well I'm looking at this photo and just thinking: wow, what I wouldn't do to get rid of all this Canadian snow and jump into some sunny Florida weather!! ☀️🥲 Disney also dropped 2 big updates this week⁠:

✨❗ Disney has announced that they will no longer be offering their Disney's Magical Express transportation service beginning January 1st 2022.⁠

For those of you who don't know, the Magical Express is a bus service that Disney offers to resort guests. It takes guests from the Orlando airport to their resort for FREE. It's a real shame that they're discontinuing it because a lot of people feel it was part of that Disney magic.⁠ 😞

In Disney's statement, they make mention of the fact that some guests are looking for "quicker" ways to get to their resorts. This is true, because 1 bus usually stopped at multiple resorts, making your wait a bit long if your resort was last.

They're likely going to switch to a new transportation option sometime in the future (perhaps the new high speed train they're developing 🚅). But we just don't know when that will happen yet.

✨ Disney also announced that resort guests will soon be able to get into all of the parks 30 minutes earlier than non-resort guests!⁠ 💖

This isn't quite as good as what it was like pre-pandemic, when resort guests were allowed to enter all parks 60min+ earlier or later than non-resort guests. This perk is "coming soon" so we don't know when it will be available, but I'll keep you updated!⁠ I'm hoping soon 🤞🏼

Yesterday was National Cookie Day so I decided to make these guys 🥰 as some of you may know I've been practicing my sugar cookie decorating but honestly I just could not fathom gathering the energy to do that yesterday 😂 so I made these chocolate chip cookies instead! Super easy:

1. Use your favorite recipe to create some cookie dough OR if you're in a pinch grab any pre-made cookie dough from the grocery store!
✨
2. Bake accordingly (whatever the recipe calls for) but in this case, place the cookie dough on the baking sheet in a big rectangle or several bigger circles. This is because chocolate chip cookie dough usually spreads, so cookie cutting them beforehand won't give you your desired result.

3. After baking, allow to rest for a few minutes and THEN cookie cut them. Allow to completely cool before removing the outer layer.

Can I Just say that Disney World at night is really my favorite time to be there? It's absolutely incredible. 🌙💜 Anyway 😊 it's Wednesday, and I think it's time for some Disney updates:
✨ Disney World recently increased park capacity by ❗10%❗ According to their recent update, this still allows them to adhere to the 6-feet distancing guidelines
✨ Disneyland is currently closed and will likely remain closed until the end of this fiscal quarter (End of December/Beginning of January)⁠
✨ Disney Springs is extending their hours starting on November 22nd, so make sure you check those hours before heading in!⁠
✨ Harambe Market in Disney's Animal Kingdom is now open!⁠
Other restaurants in Disney are also now open every day and not just on the weekend - check the My Disney Experience App for more details 📱
✨ Aulani is open, they have a new app, and even a discounted rate - check out disneyaulani.com ⁠for rates and details 😊
✨ The affection section (petting zoo) in Animal Kingdom has reopened with some new safety guidelines.⁠
✨ Christmas is in full force at Disney World! For new merchandise make sure to check out shopdisney.com

✨ Disney Tips/Updates: Starting in 2021, Disney will no longer be offering flights as a part of their packages. Also, Disney is no longer allowing guests to dine at table service restaurants unless you have a reservation. You can no longer hope for a "walk-in" spot at a table service restaurant - you NEED a reservation. So make sure you snag those reservations as soon as your booking window opens! 🙂
