It’s the little things that mean SO much....

A huge thank you to a very special client who recently returned from her custom London adventure and thought to bring me home the CUTEST pair of London socks!

It may be “just a pair of socks,” but to me, it’s so much more than that. Knowing that while she was wandering the streets of London, exploring and enjoying her trip, she took a moment to think of me… well, that just makes my heart happy.

These little gestures are such a wonderful reminder of why I absolutely LOVE what I do. Creating the trip is only part of the journey and the relationships and memories that come with it are the best part.

Thank you for thinking of me while you were in London. I’ll be wearing these with a HUGE smile! (Ps, this client also brought me back New Zealand socks, so she totally gets me!)

We stopped in Vulcan, Alberta on our road trip because honestly, these are my favourite travel discoveries: the places you might never think to put on your itinerary, but end up being some of the most memorable.
And this is exactly why I love planning travel.
Sometimes the best experiences aren’t the big-name attractions. They’re the quirky little stops, hidden gems and “wait… WHAT is that?!” moments along the way.
So if you’re planning a road trip, vacation or bucket-list adventure, let me help you find the fun between the destinations, too.
Live long and prosper… and travel more. 🖖

Our two senior pups were more than happy to trade the back seat for the front seat of a surrey bike while we explored Waterton.
It’s little moments like these that make a getaway unforgettable.
If you’re planning a trip to Waterton, be sure to leave time to slow down, rent a surrey bike, wander the lakeshore, and simply enjoy the view.
Need help planning your own Waterton escape? I’d love to help you book the perfect place to stay and build an itinerary that’s just your style.

If you’re visiting Waterton, don’t skip the Red Rock Parkway.
This scenic drive is worth the trip all on its own, with winding mountain views, colourful rock formations, wildlife sightings, and plenty of places to pull over and soak it all in.
One of our favourite stops was Blakiston Falls, a short, easy walk that leads to a beautiful waterfall tucked into the forest. It’s proof that you don’t need a strenuous hike to experience some of Waterton’s best scenery.
One thing I always tell my clients is that national parks aren’t just for avid hikers. There are so many incredible viewpoints, scenic drives, and easy walks that make these destinations accessible to almost everyone.
Thinking about a Waterton getaway? I’d love to help you plan the perfect itinerary, book you into the best places to stay, and make sure you don’t miss gems like this.

On our drive from Lethbridge to Waterton, we came across the temple in Cardston Alberta Temple. Whether you’re admiring the architecture, interested in history, or simply looking for places to pause, it’s one of those landmarks that makes you say, “Wow.”
Moments like these are why I always encourage travellers to leave a little room in their itinerary for the unexpected.
When I help plan a road trip, it’s not just about booking your hotel, it’s about helping you discover the interesting stops, scenic detours, and hidden gems that turn the drive into part of the adventure.
What’s the most unexpected place you’ve discovered on a road trip?

Looking for the perfect Alberta road trip stop?
Lethbridge might be one of the province’s most underrated destinations.
Not only is it home to the incredible High Level Bridge, but it’s also packed with fantastic restaurants, unique attractions, beautiful parks, and makes an excellent base for exploring southern Alberta.
The best part? You can take the stress out of planning by booking your hotel through me. I’ll help you find the right place to stay so you can spend less time researching and more time enjoying the journey.
Whether you’re planning a weekend getaway or a longer Alberta adventure, Lethbridge deserves more than just a quick drive through.
Would you stop for a night... or stay for a few?

I have been coast to coast exploring Canada but somehow never stopped in Lethbridge!
I’m so glad we finally did.
Our first stop was the beautiful Nikka Yuko Japanese Garden, and we happened to visit on a Friday when local food trucks roll in for a relaxed evening of great food and gorgeous scenery. Even better? Dogs are currently welcome too (up to two per visit), so our senior pups got to enjoy the peaceful gardens right alongside us.
It was the perfect reminder that sometimes you don’t need to travel far to discover somewhere completely new.
Planning your own Alberta road trip? Instead of just driving through, why not stay the night? I can help you find the perfect hotel so you have time to slow down, explore, and discover hidden gems like this.
Have you explored Lethbridge?

A beautiful stop on our road trip: Writing-on-Stone Provincial Park.
Towering sandstone hoodoos, sweeping prairie views, and a landscape rich in Indigenous history make this one of Canada’s most remarkable hidden gems. It’s peaceful, beautiful, and unlike anywhere else we’ve visited. (Honestly the pics don’t do it justice! And no snakes were seen on our hike/exploring thank goodness 😅)
Sometimes the best adventures are the ones waiting just a few hours down the highway.
Have you been to Writing-on-Stone?

Who knew Alberta was hiding a landscape that looks like it belongs on another planet?
Today we explored Red Rock Coulee, one of those wonderfully unexpected places that reminds you why road trips are so rewarding. Massive, iron-rich sandstone boulders, some as large as cars, are scattered across the prairie, creating a landscape unlike anything else in Canada.
It’s not a destination you’ll find on most “Top 10” lists, and that’s exactly what makes it so special.
As a travel advisor, I love helping people discover experiences that go beyond the usual tourist stops. Sometimes the most memorable moments happen when you take the scenic route and visit the places most people drive right past.
Have you ever been to Red Rock Coulee?
