Tonight we crossed our last possible summer bucket list item off the list - making bannock over the fire! Best baked bannock ever, especially with that Saskatoon berry jam! Delish!

Quetico Provincial Park - on our way toward home, we stopped for a night in this peaceful campground. What a little gem! Because they had two large storms come through this campground over the summer, our hiking options were limited but we did find one trail open. Mallie is learning how to build fires and loves to go find fire starting materials like birch bark and 'witch's hair'. We are so glad we planned for downtime on the way home!
