Nice to meet you… 👋
We’re Hannah and Alex, and we are launching Salt Air Cycle here in Seaforth, Nova Scotia this summer. Since we only have just started, we wanted to introduce ourselves and put faces to the name!
For a little context, the two of us met years ago working as bicycle tour guides. We spent years leading cycle tours all over the world, but we completely fell in love with the Eastern Shore while working a season here. We loved it so much that we decided to pack up and make this our permanent home back in 2018.
Starting a rental business in our own backyard just feels like a natural next step. We have an incredible rail trail system right here, and we want to make it easily accessible for everyone. We’ve put together a fleet of both classic pedal bikes, e-bikes and kids cycle equipment like Thule bike seats, and trailers.
We are officially opening our online calendar for July bookings next Friday, June 12. To help us build some local buzz, the first 10 rentals booked will get 50% off with code FIRST10.
