Earth Month 2026
Located in Disneyland Resort
Enjoy special offerings and fun activities throughout the month of April.
Eat, Sort, Scrap and Recycle!
Food is energy, not waste—and when we share our scraps, the world’s a happier place! Help the Disneyland Resort reach a zero-waste-to-landfill goal by participating in the Food Scraps program. Food scraps collected at the Resort are given a second life and transformed into nutrition-rich feed amendment for farm animals, including dairy cows. Food scraps are anything you could eat but didn’t finish—no wrappers, please.
Place your leftover food in the green “Food Only” cans with the diamond opening, available at the following locations:
Disneyland Park
* Galactic Grill
* Hungry Bear Barbecue Jamboree
* Café Daisy
Disney California Adventure Park
* Pym Test Kitchen
* Flo’s V8 Cafe
* Cozy Cone Motel
Across the Resort, use the blue recycling bins with the Saturn-shaped opening to throw away plastic, paper or glass waste. Any non-food items that are not recyclable go into the gray landfill cans. Confused about how to sort your waste? Ask a Cast Member for help.
Bottle-Filling Stations
Save plastic by reusing your water bottle. Find bottle-filling stations across the Disneyland Resort. https://disneyland.disney.go.com/guest-services/bottle-filling-stations/
Disneyland Hotel
Enjoy an up-close look at beneficial garden pollinators and learn how the Horticulture team works with them to care for the beautiful gardens across the Hotels of the Disneyland Resort. Then, create origami using recycled Disneyland Resort park maps. For Guests of the Disneyland Resort Hotels only.
