It is hard to believe it’s the last application of goodies for grass being applied on certain lawns already!
Summer is moving along fast! ☀️
As we went lawn cutting yesterday, after a very dry and hot summer, we were favourably impressed with how green the grass was, at lawns we’ve be honoured to maintain for a few years now.
The foundation has been established on them, and it’ll only get better from here on out over the years to come.
Thank you Terrace and surrounding areas for trusting us and allowing us to serve you! It’s a privilege.

*NEW service update!
The “crew in blue” has had several requests for, and is now doing parking lot line painting!
Yes it was hot 🥵, but after we did the setup of marking things out for the new lines, it went very smooth. Big 50 parking stall lot next:)
Excited we are to serve the Northwest BC with line painting.

Sometimes the work isn’t about making it pretty, but getting overgrown lots cut down.

This is the time of year you can see clearly what science and practical applications have been used for lawn care.
I love seeing green lawns in dry times.
Like all things, things do well with a good foundation.
For lawns it’s the soil foundation.
It takes time to do things well, but it is quite possible to keep things green and vibrant through dry spells.

Hello 👋
Here we are June 23rd and another 30 degree plus day, with no rain.
So many are getting brown brown lawns.
**It doesn’t have to happen.**
The first picture is me cutting today, and you can see there is that much moisture in the lawn we are maintaining, that the tire is wet from driving through the grass as we cut... The second picture is green grass in this very dry year.
These pictures aren’t a fluke, no watering has happened or fertilizer applied.
It all comes down to technique, method and science..
Old school thinking is to cut it very short- NO DON’T DO THAT.
With the northern grass types we have, you need to cut to certain lengths and certain times of the growing season to keep it vibrant.
Sometimes it’ll look shaggy for a short couple day, and not nice, but there is the perfect time to cut and a short term dislike for a long term gain is wisdom.

you aren’t doing things right..
There is a science and technique to keeping grass green all year long:)
We have seen 10 brown lawns around a single green lawn that we take care of.. and it’s nothing to do with watering or fertilizer:)

It has been a very busy last week again!
Up to the Nass for a day of work. Lawns, trees, landscaping in Terrace and area!
💦 There is one thing that the “crew in blue” is looking to start offering to Terrace, sprinkler system installs! 💦
Yup every summer lots of watering restrictions, with hours that are hard to utilize.. early morning or later day times that most people want to sleep, or get ready for work, or in the evenings come home and just want to chill and be with their family… instead of doing the watering…
Well, a sprinkler system, with pop up sprinklers will bring a convenience and will allow maximum watering times, day and night on the days you are allowed to water!
With a timer and preset times, your lawn will look great for the whole season.
Feel free to enquire with us and we can establish the best plans and layout for your peace of mind system. In the fall we offer winterizing of the system with handy blow out capabilities.

Trees trees trees:))
These huge cottonwoods simply were ready to go. Weakened with multiple weak tops, it was perfect timing to remove them. Also, the pods were ready to let off a massive “snow storm” of cotton!
In the comments section I’ll post a couple videos showing how wet this wood gets and topping one of the trees.
It was a great day and job done by the crew.
