(Edit) SOLD🔥… I don’t suspect it will last too long. 14x5.5 (10ply) flamed ash/maple-poplar with a mahogany interior and proprietary ebony racing stripe at the rear (try specifying that ply species layup with the big boy manufacturers). The “huakaʻi pō” is a 13x7 (10 ply) zebrano-maple-poplar model in a one off finish. When Big Island Hammah, got in touch with me looking for a unique and special drum, I knew I had to deliver something that was special, playable, durable and road worthy since his band are constantly gigging around the beautiful Hawaiian Islands and the Mainland.
